Today we drove into Lucerne and even though we saw fairy-tale buildings, beautiful churches, amazing architecture and a clear blue lake …

the best part was the animals! There were leaf bugs, seagulls, black ducks, mallard ducks, pigeons and lots and lots of swans!

But best was a … humming bird! Yes we really saw a humming bird! It can go back wards, hover, go up and down and forwards! They can flap there wings 200 times per second! The bird was a bit bigger than a big bumble bee!

Seeing that was better than the mini zoo in Strasbourg!
